Molly B. Ellis was born in the greater Washington D.C. region in the early 90’s. From a young age, Molly aspired to become a professional writer. She found support in her mentor, teachers, professors and family. For the past twenty years, she has written countless fictional shorts and novels.
Her first book is set to be published in the new decade.
Molly enjoys spending her spare time with her family which includes her dogs and cat.
Personal Life
Molly began her academic career pursuing a dual Master’s in History & Library Science at the University of Maryland. She was spending her spare time applying to various positions at libraries and museums in D.C. including an internship program at Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. However, at the peak of her transition, she had to make a difficult decision to no longer chase after her academic career. With this drastic change, it gave her the opportunity to spend quality time with her terminally ill mentor & best friend, her grandmother.
A few years after starting College, Molly began working at a local, popular retailer. This is where she met her husband, Joe. Today, they’re not only life partners, but also business partners.
Since moving her family to a quaint town in Pennsylvania, Molly & her husband have set roots inside a mostly renovated 1915 colonial. She finds new inspiration daily within the walls of her home and the surrounding, sleepy, historic neighborhood.
